IMMIGRATION PROCEDURE

Hungarian Immigration Law sets up a simple 2-step immigration procedure for all Investor applicants: (1) first applying for Guest Investor Visa (GI Visa stage), then (2) submitting Guest Investor Resident Permit application (GI RP).

1st Step - Guest Investor Visa

(for citizens from visa-free entry countries on the list by Hungarian/EU regulations, they can skip the GI Visa Stage and go straight to the GI RP stage: come to Hungary to apply for GI RP directly)

The Investor shall submit his/her Visa application at any Hungarian Embassy or Consulate in their country of citizenship or habitual residence.

There is no need to complete the investment of EUR 250,000 in whole or in part at this stage. A simple commitment from the Investor's side (and the proof of his/her financial resources) can be accepted to start the procedure.

In case of positive decision of GI Visa application, the Embassy or Consulate issues GI Visas to approved applicants. 

2nd Step - Guest Investor Residence Permit

After obtaining a GI Visa, the Investor can plan his/her travel and lands in Hungary within 6 month, with the help from our professionals.

Once the Investor land on Hungary, we will assist he/she to complete the investment procedure, including securities account opening with our local partner (Codex), KYC and AML necessary procedures in order to subscribe the qualified real estate investment fund managed by our another local partner (Sprint Asset Manager Company) .

And finally, with our assistance and our legal teams arrangement, the investor shall submit their GI RP application in person at the Immigration Office in Hungary.
